| Because we realize that recruiting talented
men and women is essential to the continued success of the
firm, we devote substantial time and resources to our recruiting
program. Major recruiting activities include on-campus interviews
at major law schools in the fall and follow-up interviews
at our office in Punta Gorda. Most applicants for our Summer
Clerk Program are selected during on-campus interviews.
We are highly selective in our recruitment
of associates and summer clerks. In evaluating applications,
we give primary consideration to outstanding academic achievement,
life experiences, and motivation to produce high quality
legal work along side our lawyers and staff. We are an equal

Our recruiting program is directed by the
Recruitment Committee, which is comprised of both partners

The firm conducts interviews at several major
universities, both in-state and out-of-state, each year.
The firm extends invitations for Callback Interview Weekend
to several applicants. Callback Weekend provides an opportunity
for invited applicants to meet with all the attorneys in
the firm, including the associates, and to socialize with
all attorneys and their spouses. The applicant's significant
other is also invited to attend and participate.
The fall recruitment schedule and callback weekend will be
posted in late summer, if we are recruiting that year.
