Jill McCrory attended the University of Florida, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree, with high honors, in 1997; a Juris Doctor, with honors, in 2001, and a Master of Laws in Taxation in 2003. She served as graduate editor of the Florida Tax Review, earned honors in legal research and writing, served as research editor of the University of Florida Journal of Technology Law and Policy, provided teaching assistance for appellate advocacy, and was an extern at the Office of the Alachua County Attorney. Mrs. McCrory was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2002 and became associated with the firm in 2003.
She concentrates her practice in general Florida and federal tax law, including income tax, corporate tax, partnership tax, deferred compensation tax, tax exempt organizations, estate and gift tax (both national and international), estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, 1031 like-kind exchanges, and real estate. Mrs. McCrory is a member of The Florida Bar, the Tax Law Section of The Florida Bar, the Charlotte County Bar Association, and the Charlotte County Estate and Tax Planning Council.
