Community

With over 85 years of service to individuals and businesses throughout Southwest Florida, the law firm of Farr, Farr, Emerich, Hackett & Carr, P.A. stands today as a cornerstone of Charlotte County.  Indeed, the Farr Law Firm has a deep connection to the local neighborhoods and areas surrounding all of Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf Islands, and expresses that commitment through continued support of numerous local charitable and community organizations. 

Farr Law Firm supports a variety of organizations serving Southwest Florida

The law firm itself proudly support local schools, providing scholarships and supporting various programs.  Farr, Farr, Emerich, Hackett & Carr, P.A. is also proud to support and sponsor many worthy organizations, including: Charlotte County Chapter of the American Red Cross; C.A.R.E.; Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity; Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce; Main Street Punta Gorda; Edison State College Foundation; The Fred Lang Foundation; Leadership Charlotte; Punta Gorda Days, Inc.; Englewood Redevelopment Project; Charlotte County YMCA; South County YMCA; and the Visual Arts Center, among many others.

The attorneys and staff of the Farr Law Firm consider themselves fortunate to have the opportunity to play an active role in the beautiful and diverse community that makes up this portion of Florida’s southwest Gulf Coast, and they routinely embrace opportunities to join with local charities and outreach organizations. 

Indeed, the Farr Law Firm’s longstanding philosophy values individual commitment to the community and states, “all attorneys have an obligation to their community and shall be involved in the betterment of themselves, the firm and the broader community.” Farr Law Firm attorneys are active, dedicated participants in local Chambers of Commerce, community service organizations, assorted charitable groups and, of course, The Florida Bar.

Farr Law Firm attorneys also serve on boards for local organizations such as the Southwest Florida Community Foundation; Gulf Coast Community Foundation; Charlotte State Bank, Calusa National Bank; the Charlotte Community Foundation; Charlotte Regional Medical Center; Operation Cooper Street; the YMCA; and the Charlotte State Bank.  Over the years, firm attorneys have volunteered their time with various local nonprofits, including the Homeless Coalition Guardian ad Litem and Teen Court.
