Remediation of Homes Containing Chinese Drywall

One of the biggest Chinese drywall suppliers, Knauf, has agreed on a preliminary settlement to remediate some homes containing the defective drywall.  Knauff has agreed to remediate these homes in accordance with Judge Fallon's decision in the consolidated federal action in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.  The current settlement is limited to 300 homes containing at least 95% Knauf drywall.
